The Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA)
youth education program is committed to educating the leaders of tomorrow—today's
youth. The program provides students and teachers
with the skills and knowledge they need to become informed water consumers
and conservers.
This
Web site is designed to bring the H2O University program to life—particularly
the "H2O: The Source"
water resource kits. Use the information in this section to help you learn
more about the program.
Educating tomorrow's leaders
today
The H2O University program goals are linked to the Clark County School
District curriculum and Nevada State Standards:
- Students will appreciate the unique qualities of water and the role
water has played in the history and culture of Southern Nevada
- Students will conserve water resources in the choices they make as
citizens and consumers
- Students will protect the quality of our water resources, both in
Nevada and around the world
