Water Facts
Every month, Southern Nevada Water System (SNWS) scientists collect and analyze hundreds of water samples from throughout the valley. The Safe Drinking Water Act requires water purveyors to test for nearly 100 chemicals, radiological and bacteriological contaminants.

Southern Nevada's water is tested more frequently and extensively than the Safe Drinking Act requires. Click on the links to learn more about water matters in Southern Nevada.
