Water is one of our most important resources. That's
why it's important to know all we can about it so that we can preserve
and protect it for future use.
About 97 percent of all the water on Earth is salt
water. Another 2 percent of the Earth's water is frozen in glaciers. That
means only 1 percent of all the water on Earth is available freshwater.
